Rotate knob so that zero marking is alined with
mark on the
q.
backgauge.

Tighten set screw on adjustment knob.
Position adjustment screw handle up to prevent it from coming in contact
s.
with back ledge of table by pulling it outward and rotating to the
left.
Turn off power.
t.
(1) Turn Star-Delta switch to Y postion, then to O position.
(2) Turn main power switch to O position.
(3) Using operator key, lock the safety lock.
Turn off the circuit breaker.

13 mm Combination Wrench
Turn on power.
a.
(1) Using operator key, unlock safety lock.
(2) Turn main power switch to I position.
(3) Turn Star-Delta switch to Y position. After main motor has reached
full speed, turn switch to
position.
(4) Press control power on switch.
b. Move backgauge forward or backward as required until backgauge position
is displayed on measurement display.
WARNING
Always keep clear of moving parts while performing this task. Serious
injury may occur.
To adjust up and down looseness, loosen locking nuts on bottom adjusting
c.
screws and adjust screws until free and easy movement without play is
obtained.
