Installation of Support Brace and Floor Plate Assembly When Shipped Preassembled.

WARNING

Center frame assembly weighs 46 lbs (21 kg); use two people to lift.

NOTE

Insert longer bolts (3/8-16 x 3-in) through long side of rectangular tube and

shorter bolts (3-8-16 x 2-1/2-in) through short side (cross section).

When installing the support brace and floor plate assembly, the bolts must be

installed with the heads on the brace side and the nuts on the frame side,

(1) Install the support brace and floor plate assembly (3) using 10 3/8X3-inch hex bolts

(11), 10 3/8X2-1/2-inch hex bolts (12), 40 3/8-inch washers (13), and

20 3/8-inch locknuts (14) (center frame assembly bolts short and long), figure 2-48.

Do not tighten bolts completely to allow for adjustment.

(2) When all bolts, washers, and locknuts have been installed, tighten all bolts, including

all bolts in the preassembled floor plate assembly, snug plus 1/4 turn using 9/16-inch

socket, 11/16-inch socket, and 11/16-inch open-end wrench.
