(2) Place alignment bracket assembly (1) over the two threaded inserts on the left side of the floor plate
with alignment pins facing the front of the vehicle, figure 2-52.
(3) Secure alignment bracket assembly to the floor plate with two T-handle bolts (2) and two load
distributing washers (3), figure 2-52. Hand-tighten bolts.
(4) Remove CDU from IPADS frame. Set aside for later installation.

(5) Using three persons, lift and place IPADS unit onto floor plate. Ensure the porro prism assembly and
cover face towards the rear right passenger door of the vehicle, figures 2-32 and 2-53.
(6) Slide IPADS frame onto pins of alignment bracket assembly. Ensure pins of alignment bracket are
fully engaged in alignment pinholes in bottom rail of the IPADS frame. If alignment pins do not fit
freely into receptacles, refer to figure 2-9 for adjustment procedures.
(7) Tighten alignment pins using crescent wrench.
