a.
Turn power off.
WARNING
Death or serious injury may occur from electrical shock unless power cord
is unplugged before servicing.
b. Unplug power cord.
Loosen thumbscrew and turn spindle locknut all the way to the right.
c.
d. Remove capscrews from guide rod bracket assembly.
e.
Remove top nut from treadle rod.
