2. DRILL HEAD WILL NOT COME DOWN.
Check for foreign objects obstructing drill.
Step 1.
(a) If no obstruction is present, proceed to step 2.
(b) Remove obstruction.
Inspect for disconnected treadle linkage.
Step 2.
Reconnect treadle linkage.
3. MOTOR WILL NOT TURN. LIGHT WORKS.
Inspect connections to motor switch.
Step 1.
(a) If connections are properly made, proceed to step 2.
(b) Reconnect connections.
Check power switch for continuity.
Step 2.
(a) If continuity is present, proceed to step 3.
(b) Replace power switch (paragraph 2-16.4).
Check power cord from light junction box to motor.
Step 3.
Replace motor (paragraph 2-16.3).
4. MOTOR WILL NOT TURN, LIGHT WILL NOT WORK.
Inspect connections at junction box.
Step 1.
(a) If connections are properly made, proceed to step 2.
(b) Reconnect connections.
Inspect power cord for breaks and cracks.
Step 2.
Replace power cord (paragraph 2-16.2).
