Remove BCU Fuse.
(1) Remove BCU from IPADS frame, paragraph 4-9a.
(2) Open cover on BCU by lifting latches on ends.
(3) Lift cover and lean to side. Be careful not to pull the wires out.
NOTE
Needle nose pliers may be needed to unscrew fuse cover.
(4) Fuse holder is near the connector end of the BCU. Turn fuse cover counterclockwise and pull out.
(5) Carefully reach in and remove fuse by pulling straight up on the fuse.
b. Install BCU Fuse.
(1) Insert fuse into fuse holder inside BCU ensuring the two prong holes are lined up.
(2) Position fuse cover over fuse and turn clockwise to tighten.
(3) Close cover on BCU and secure latches to attach cover.
(4) Replace BCU in clamshell storage compartment on IPADS frame, paragraph 4-9b.
