11. IPADS WARNING: ERROR ACCESSING MAIN DATABASE CONNECTION, ATTEMPTING
RESTORE OF BACKUP DATABASE.
Step 1. Press Enter.
a. If CDU display comes up normally, press F7-POINTS and review stored data.
b. Enter data for any points that were lost.
c. Continue with mission.
d. If IPADS WARNING: ERROR ACCESSING DATABASE, ATTEMPTING RESTORE
OF BLANK DATABASE is displayed, go to step 2.
Step 2. Press Enter.
a. If CDU display comes up normally, enter data for any points that were lost.
b. Continue with mission.
c. If IPADS FATAL ERROR: ERROR ESTABLISHING DATA BASE CONNECTION,
PROGRAM TERMINATING is displayed, go to step 3.
Step 3. Press Enter.
Step 4. Turn BCU OUTPUT switch OFF when IT IS NOW SAFE TO TURN OFF YOUR
COMPUTER is displayed.
Step 5. Reprogram CDU, paragraph 7-1.
Step 6. Power IPADS ON and enter any required point data in the empty database.
12. IPADS FATAL ERROR: ERROR ACCESSING EGM DATABASE FILE, PROGRAM TERMINATING.
Step 1. Press Enter.
Step 2. Turn BCU OUTPUT switch OFF when IT IS NOW SAFE TO TURN OFF YOUR
COMPUTER is displayed.
Step 3. Reprogram CDU, paragraph 7-1.
Step 4. Power IPADS ON and verify normal CDU display.
