8.
AUXILIARY PUMP MOTOR TURNS, BUT DOES NOT PUMP WATER.
Step 1.
Check that intake hose is submerged several inches below
water level at source.
Lower intake hose.
Step 2.
Check that auxiliary pump has been primed.
Prime auxiliary pump (para 2-6e).
Step 3.
Check that hoses are connected correctly.
Reconnect hoses (para 2-6e).
Step 4.
Check intake hose for clogging or leaks.
Clean, repair, or replace intake hose.
If malfunction still exists, notify your supervisor.
9.
WATER TANK DOES NOT FILL.
Step 1.
Check that water tank gate valve is closed.
Close valve.
Step 2.
Check that hose connections are secure.
Tighten hose connections.
Step 3.
Check inlet and outlet hoses for clogging or leaks.
Clean, repair, or replace hoses.
Step 4.
Check if field source of water is depleted.
Refill source or relocate to new source.
If malfunction still exists, notify your supervisor.
