Be sure that backgauge sledge cams and limit switches are positioned

(b) If switches are adjusted correctly, proceed to step 2.

Step 1.
Inspect emitter bulbs.
(a) If a bulb is burned out, replace bulb (paragraph 5-16.19,
step g).
(b) If one or more bulbs are dim or incorrectly aimed, adjust
light barrier focus (paragraph 5-16.19, step i).
(c) If all bulbs are bright, proceed to step 2.
