Loosen rear belt guard screw and remove guard.

Loosen motor bracket bolts.
Raise motor bracket until V-belt can be removed.

Remove V-belt.
Remove motor mounting screws.
f.
Move motor slightly to gain access to conduit.
g.
Remove cover plate and 90 degree conduit elbow. Retain elbow.
h.
Tag and remove terminal connectors and wires.
i.
Remove defective motor.
j.
k.
Remove pulley from defective motor and install on new motor.
l.
Connect terminal connectors to new motor and install 90 degree conduit
elbow and cover plate.
NOTE
Pulley must line up with upper pulley. Adjustment of motor mounting
screws may be required to line up pulleys.
Line up motor and secure with mounting screws.
m.
n.
Lift motor bracket.
Reinstall V-belt.
o.
Press downward on motor bracket to obtain correct tension on V-belt.
p.
NOTE
Approximately 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) deflection required in V-belt.
Tighten bolts to hold bracket.
q.
Replace rear belt guard and tighten screw.
r.
Plug in power cord.
