d. Hand Held Terminal - The hand held terminal (HHT) allows the user to make alterations to the system
alignment constants. This device communicates with the EPU via RS-232, and plugs into the J5
connector on the back of the EPU. The EPU may be removed after necessary data is communicated to
the EPU. The HHT has several user configurable parameters. Normally, the user will not have to modify
these. The terminal parameters are not to be confused with the parameters that are stored in the EPU
that are modified using the HHT. A flow diagram of the editing logic accessible with the HHT is shown in
the following figure.
