Battery Test
NOTE
This test provides a check of IPADS
battery operation under load. A battery test
will be performed at the end of a mission to
minimize the impact of a defective battery
and IPADS shutdown.
a. While IPADS is operating, note that the
BCU Battery Good indicator is illuminated.
b. Disconnect vehicle power by setting
BCU DC INPUT power switch to OFF.
IPADS should remain operating with the
input power indicator dark.
c. After 30 seconds of battery operation,
either set BCU DC INPUT power switch
DC INPUT to ON to continue operation or
turn IPADS off.
