Inspect Backgauge V-Belts - Cont

4. Check V-belt deflection. Deflection should be
6-9 mm (1/4 - 3/8 in.). If deflection differs from
specifications, adjust V-belt by:
(a) Loosen backgauge mounting bolts.
(b) Slide backgauge motor outward to tighten
(c) Tighten four mounting bolts.
5. Reinstall backgauge motor V-belt cover.

Inspect Main Motor V-Belts.

1. Turn off power.
(a) Turn main power switch to O position.
(b) Lock safety lock with operator key.
2. Remove main motor V-belt cover.
