At OS mark completion, audible alarm sounds and MARK page shows data for the marked point OS (P1)
MARKED; MOVE TO EOL (P2) POSITION and TIME IN P1 P2 OPERATION xx:xx.
NOTE
You have 60 seconds to move to the EOL position and mark EOL. OL must be
between 100 and 1000 meters long. Current OL length is displayed in LEN OL
field.

Immediately after OS mark is completed, proceed to EOL position.

Function key line shows F1-MRK EOL and F9-CANCEL.
l.
Maneuver ground vehicle or land helicopter to place plumb bob over EOL.
m. Set ground vehicle's parking brake.
n.
When vehicle or helicopter is stationary, press F1 to mark EOL.
o.
Press FNC DEL to clear PNT NAME field, enter new name, and press ENTER. Cursor box moves to
mark identifier.
CAUTION
AFATDS truncates SCP names to eight characters. If SCP data will be sent to
AFATDS, keep SCP names to eight or fewer characters. See CAUTION in
p.
Press FNC DEL to clear mark identifier, enter new identifier, and press ENTER. Cursor box moves to
DESCRIPTION field.

If desired, enter a point description up to 34 characters long.
r.
Press F2 to accept the name and description changes. MARK page is displayed with new name and
identifier. Record data.

Hang plumb bob.

Set survey marker under plumb bob.

Stow plumb bob and arm.
w. Set and mark witness stakes at OS and EOL.
