NOTE
When connected to FOS, IPADS time automatically sets to FOS time.
There is no need to manually set IPADS time.
IPADS time sets to that in TIME ENTRY field on DATE/TIME page when
F2-USE ALL is pressed. To perform a time hack, enter (future) time of the
time hack in the TIME ENTRY field and press F2 at the time hack.
Changing time zone by itself does not change displayed time. When time
zone is changed, correct time for new time zone must be entered in TIME
ENTRY field.
Changing IPADS date and time also sets the computer system date and
time. If running IPADS emulator software on a computer other than IPADS
CDU, be careful that changing its system time does not adversely affect
other applications.

Date and Time
Date and time are displayed on right side of mode line. Perform the following steps to change date and
time:
(1) Scroll to DATE/TIME on MENU and press ENTER. DATE/TIME page is displayed with cursor box
on DATE SET field. Function key line shows F2-USE ALL and F9-MENU.
(2) Change date by entering today's date for desired time zone in DD/MM/YY format.
(3) Scroll to TIME SET field and enter correct time for desired time zone in 24 hour HH:MM:SS format.
(4) Scroll to TIME ZONE field and enter letter corresponding to desired time zone.
(5) Scroll to DAYLIGHT SAVINGS field. Function key line shows F2-USE ALL, F3-YES, F4-NO, and
F9-MENU.
(6) Press F3 to enable daylight savings time or F4 to disable it.
(7) When settings are correct, press F2-USE ALL at the time hack. INFO: DATE AND TIME HAVE
BEEN SET is displayed.
(8) Press F9 to return to MENU.
