Determine the state-of-charge of the battery. Refer to TM 9-6140-200-14 for

h. Place wet cloth over cap and battery.

Connect positive (red) cable to positive (+) terminal of battery, and
connect negative (black) cable to negative (-) terminal of battery.

Plug in power cord.
NOTE
When ammeter on battery charger does not show any noticeable current
f l o w , b a t t e r y i s f u l l y c h a r g e d.
Unplug power cord.
Remove cloth from battery.
Disconnect negative and positive cables from battery terminals.
