IPADS MAP MANAGER SOFTWARE PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
SECTION I. INTRODUCTION
H-1. Scope. This performance specification coves the requirements for IPADS Map Manager software. IPADS
is an inertial surveying system that can display a digital map background as an aid for navigation. The map
background is not required for IPADS to meet its performance requirements. IPADS Map Manager software
has two primary functions: preparation of map data files in the format required by IPADS; and loading and
managing of map files in IPADS.

Threshold Requirements. Threshold requirements are requirements that must be met. All requirements
in this specification are threshold, unless identified.
b.
Objective Requirements. Objective requirements are desired, but not required. Objective requirements
may be met in whole or in part. Meeting objective requirements will not degrade satisfaction of threshold
requirements.

H-2. General. The documents listed in this section are specified in H-3. While every effort has been made to
ensure the completeness of this list, document users are cautioned that they must meet all specified requirements
documents cited in H-3, whether or not they are listed.
