F1-MANUAL
Displays IPADS Technical Manual.
Marks the first point, orienting station (OS), of a two-position mark, using
F1-2POS
vehicle plumb bob reference.
F1-4TH
Sets survey order for fourth order (five-minute ZUPT interval).
F1-GRID
Sets azimuth type to grid azimuth.
F1-M998
Sets IPADS vehicle type for operation in M998 HMMWV.
F1-MILS
Sets angle display format to mils.
Marks the second point, end of orienting line (EOL), of a two-position mark,
F1-MRK EOL
using vehicle plumb bob reference.
Selects normal grid zone. The normal grid zone will be displayed on either
F1-NORMAL
side of a grid zone crossing.
F1-ON
Enables audible alarm.
Selects normal operational mode. Confirmation required to switch from one

of the two training modes. IPADS will be shut down. Recycle power using

F2-ALARM
Tests the audible alarm. Accessible from within the STATUS screen.
Sets display position format to latitude/longitude or angle format in degrees,

minutes and seconds.
F2-M1123
Sets IPADS vehicle type for operation in M1069 or M1123 HMMWV.
F2-MARK
Initiates marking (establishing) a point.
F2-NEW
Displays the point editor page to add a new point to the database.
F2-OFF
Disables audible alarm.
F2-TRAIN
Selects full-IPADS training mode. Confirmation required to switch from
normal or emulator modes. IPADS will be shut down. Recycle power using
BCU OUTPUT switch.
F2-TRUE
Sets azimuth type to true (geodetic) azimuth.
Initiates position update using an offset (theodolite) reference and adjusts
F2-UPDT-
previously established points. Must be confirmed to complete.
Apply the data that was entered on a page. IPADS will validate the data and
F2-USE ALL
display an appropriate response.

Sets point type to waypoint when creating a point in the point editor.
