IPADS is shipped in three containers. These contain the IPADS end item, spare parts, and base plate.
b.
Theodolite, tripods, and other survey equipment required to effectively operate the IPADS are unit Table of
Organization and Equipment (TO&E) items.

WARNING
The IPADS transit case, with IPADS inside, weighs 195 lbs (88.5 kg); use at
least six persons to lift.
CAUTION
IPADS contains electronic units; use extreme care when handling.
