S t e p 1.
Open plotter.
Check position of Y-axis mute switch S2.
(a) If S2 is turned off, proceed to step 2.
(b) Turn off S2.
S t e p 2.
Check fuses F3 and F4 on A2 for continuity.
(a) If either is defective, replace fuse and turn S2 on.
(b) If pen fails to move, replace A2 (paragraph 3-29.7).
(c) If problem persists, replace Y-drive motor (paragraph
3-29.14).
5. PLOTTER INITIALIZES; OSCILLATES; THEN STOPS .
S t e p 1.
Initialize plotter using wrt 705, "IN" program command and perform
X - and/or Y- limit switch adjustments (paragraph 3-29.9, 3-29. 10)
to correct oscillations at power-up.
