c. Remove the nuts securing the proximity switches. Note the wiring of the
switches to be sure which switch is mounted forward and which switch is
mounted to the rear. Remove the switches.
d. Remove plug connector from safety bolt.
Push out plug connector mounted in mounting frame by pressing in on both

tab locks and pushing connector down.
f. Tag and disconnect two wires going to terminal block.
Install new connector in mounting frame.
g.
h. Reconnect wires to terminal block.
Reinstall plug connector.
i.
j. Reinstall new proximity switches, being sure that switches are mounted
as noted in step c.
k. Perform safety bolt proximity switches adjustment (paragraph 5-40.61).
