b. Lubricate the following points:
(1) Pressure foot guides.
(2) Pressure foot springs.
(3) Guide rod and spring.
(4) Clevis pin.
c.
Wipe all machine parts and work surface clean.
Lubricate spindle with silicone spray lubricant (Item
2-8.2 Monthly Lubrication.

Turn power off.

Death or serious injury may occur from electrical shock unless power cord
is unplugged before servicing.
b. Unplug power cord.
(Loosen thumbscrew and turn spindle locknut
Raise drill to maximum height.

Pull drift hole cover down and remove cover.

Insert drill drift into drift hole (round side down).

Lift up on drill drift.

It may be necessary to tap bottom of drill drift to release drill.
