Operation in Cold Weather. (Cont'd)

Ensure liquid supplies are stored in a warm place.
CAUTION
Extreme cold can cause external power cables and ground cable
to become hard and brittle. Avoid kinks or tight loops in cables.
Failure to do so may result in permanent damage to cables.
NOTE
During normal DDSS operation, shelter and tent interiors are kept
environmentally controlled, and internal equipment is not affected
by outside temperature.

Ensure all external power and ground cables are free from tight loops and kinks.

Operation in Extreme Heat or Tropical Conditions.
CAUTION
When transporting the DDSS, or when the shelter environmental
control unit is not operating, and the weather is extremely humid,
mold or mildew can form on equipment, supplies, and documents
causing damage.
NOTE
During normal DDSS operation, shelter and tent interiors are kept
environmentally controlled, and internal equipment is not affected
by outside temperature.
Store consumable supplies, documents and normally exposed equipment in protective containers to
keep dry and free from condensation.
