Perform continuity check for carriage clutch switch.
If no continuity is present, notify direct support maintenance for
replacement of carriage clutch switch.
6. CLUTCHES DO NOT OPERATE. LIGHT GRID OPERATES.
S t e p 1.
Set carriage clutch switch to OFF.
Perform continuity check for carriage assembly.
Step 2.
If no continuity is present, notify direct support maintenance for
replacement of carriage clutch switch.
S t e p 3.
Perform continuity check for X-axis brushes.
If no continuity is present, replace brushes (paragraph 6-16.4).
7. X-, Y-, OR Z-AXIS CHAINS JUMP SPROCKETS.
Inspect for slack in chain.
Notify direct support maintenance for tightening of chain.
8. X-, Y-, OR Z-AXIS CONTROLS ARE SLUGGISH.

Inspect chain for too much tension.
Notify direct support maintenance for loosening of chain.
Inspect chains for dirt.
Step 2.
Notify direct support maintenance for servicing of chain.
