Test fan motor control switch for continuity.
(a) If there is no continuity when switch is on, replace fan motor
control switch (paragraph 5-16.3).
(b) If there is continuity through switch, replace fan motor
FAN OPERATES.

ONE OR BOTH LIGHT GRIDS DO NOT OPERATE.
Step 1.
Check continuity of dimmer switch(es).
(a) If continuity exists, proceed to step 2.
(b) If continuity does not exist, replace dimmer switch(es)
