(1) Unscrew two hood retaining screws and remove rear hood.
( 2 ) R a i s e u p p e r d e c k.
Swing latching bar up and engage it securely in
r e t a i n i n g s l o t .

Manually position plotting arm over deck lock assembly, and secure
arm using two thumbscrews from service kit or 6/32 in. screws.
d. Remove Y-cable:
(1) Disengage latching bar and lower the upper deck.
(2) Place pen carriage to center of plotting arm.
(3) Remove pen carriage cover by removing pen carriage cover screw.
