Remove X-cable:
(1) Move the pen carriage arm to extreme right edge of platen.
(2) Remove six screws around edge of electrostatic platen and two
screws from center of electrostatic platen.
( 3 ) L i f t e l e c t r o s t a t i c p l a t e n o u t c a r e f u l l y f r o m e n d o p p o s i t e p e n a r m .
(4) Remove X-tension adjust nut, and push threaded
out of bracket.
