3. Using an optical comparator, measure the differ-
ence in width between the single line segment
and the retraced portion of the line segment.
The difference should be within ±0.1 mm.
4. Using a metric scale, verify that the hori-
zontal line measures 38 cm ±0.96 mm and that
the vertical line measures 25 cm ±0.7 mm.
