PMCS Procedures.
PMCS are designed to keep the equipment in good working condition by per-
ing periodic service tasks.
Service intervals provide you, the operator, with time schedules that deter-

Leakage definitions for operator PMCS shall be classified as follows:

great enough to form drops.
(2) Class II Leakage of fluid great enough for drops to form, but not
enough to cause drops to drip from item being checked/inspected.
( 3 ) C l a s s I I I L e a k a g e o f f l u i d g r e a t e n o u g h t o f o r m d r o p s t h a t f a l l f r om
the item being checked/inspected.
CAUTION
Equipment operation is allowable with minor leakages (Class I or II). Of
course, you must consider the fluid capacity in the item/system being
checked/inspected. When in doubt, notify your supervisor.
When operating with Class I or Class II leaks, continue to check fluid
levels as required in your PMCS.
Class III leaks should be reported to your supervisor or organizational
maintenance.
