Most troubleshooting in MX 1502 can be performed by processor using

Self-test is automatically performed every 24 hours.
If faults are detected during self-test, audible alarm is sounded (unless
suppressed by code 38) and error code is displayed to inform user of most
probable cause.

error codes if errors are detected.

Upon completion of self-test, TEST is removed from display unit but any
faults detected remain until corrected and successful self-test is com-
