a . T e s t t h e d i s p l a y a s f o l l o w s:
(1) Place ON/OFF switch to ON.
NOTE
If power has not been applied to oscillator during transportation, a
24 hour stabilization period should be observed. Accuracy of oscillator
in satellite surveyor determines accuracy of data used to compute
p o s i t i o n .
(2) After 4 seconds, place STANDBY/OPERATE switch to OPERATE.
NOTE
If external battery voltage is less than 10.5 V, recharge or replace
e x t e r n a l b a t t e r y.
( 3 ) P l a c e v o l t a g e s e l e c t o r s w i t c h t o E X T . V o l t m e t e r s h o u l d i n d i c a t e
approximately 12 V.
NOTE
INIT 19 or INIT 20 is displayed when STANDBY/OPERATE switch is set to
OPERATE.
