Tag and disconnect wire (5).

Remove hex nut (4).
Remove hex nut (6), washer (7), insulator ring (8), and binding

post (9).

Install new binding post (9), insulator ring (8), washer (7), and hex
nut (6).
5.
Install wire (5) with hex nut (4).
6.
Install cover (2) with screws (1).
7.
Test operate telephone.
