b. Check the equipment against the packing slip to see if the shipment
is complete. Report all discrepancies in accordance with the instructions
of DA PAM 738-750.

2-8. OPERATIONAL CHECK. Perform all organizational Preventive Maintenance
Checks and Services (PMCS) required by table 2-2. If necessary, perform
operator's PMCS, table 2-1, TM 5-3610-287-10. If problems exist,
troubleshoot in accordance with troubleshooting procedures of this manual
(table 2-3) and perform the necessary corrective actions.
Section III.
ORGANIZATIONAL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND
SERVICES (PMCS)

GENERAL .
The Section must be inspected and serviced regularly to
find and correct defects.
a. Your Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services table lists the
inspection and care of your equipment required to keep it in good operating
condition.
b. Use the "Item No." column of the PMCS table to supply the item
number used in the "TM Number" column of DA Form 2404.
c. The interval column of your PMCS table tells you when to do a
certain check or service.
d. The procedure column of your PMCS table tells you how to do the
required check and service. Carefully follow these instructions.
e. If your equipment does not perform as required, refer to table 2-3,
Organizational Troubleshooting. Report malfunctions or failures on DA Form
2404, or refer to DA PAM 738-750.
