WARNING
Death or serious injury may occur from electrical shock unless power cord is unplugged before
servicing.
a.
Unplug power cord.
b.
Unlatch and remove front cover.
c.
Remove plug and drain water from sink.
d.
Unplug cord from heating element.
e.
Cut top of insulation until nut is accessible.
f.
Unscrew and remove heating element from heat exchanger.
g.
Coat threads of new heating element with sealant. Install securely into heat exchanger.
h.
Patch cut in insulation with duct tape.
i.
Plug power cable into new heating element.
j.
Reinstall plug and fill sink with water to proper level.
k.
Reinstall front cover and secure with latch.
l.
Plug in power cord.
