(2) Backgauge motor. Provides power to the backgauge carrier via a pair of
pulleys and two V-belts. Operation and the direction of rotation of the motor is
controlled by a pair of switches (S10) and (S14). Limit switches are mounted along
the backgauge table. The power for the backgauge motor comes from the motor control
(MC) circuits. The backgauge motor is protected by an overload relay. The relay is
located on the motor control unit (MC), and can be accessed via a door on the
electronics enclosure cover.
