Insert sleeve spacer (10) in torsion helical
spring (11).
Place torsion helical spring (11) in position

in cover (12) hinge hole as shown.

Position the cover group on the base plate
(8) and aline the holes for the setscrew (9).

Push setscrew (9) in until only the threads
show.

Apply sealing compound (item 8, appx D)
to setscrew threads.

Screw in setscrew (9) and tighten securely.

Apply synthetic rubber adhesive (item 1,
plate mating surface.

Allow adhesive to dry until tacky, then
position and press new gasket (13) firmly
in place.
