4-30. FLUORESCENT CEILING LIGHT BALLAST.

a. Remove.
1.
Turn off fluorescent light switch.
WARNING
Turn off shelter light circuit breaker. Failure to do so may result in death or serious injury.
2.
Turn off shelter light circuit breaker.
3.
Loosen 4 screws (1) and remove diffuser panel (2).
4.
Remove 2 screws (3) and ballast cover (4).
5.
Remove 2 nuts (5) and starwasher (6).
7.
Disconnect ballast leads (8).
8.
Remove ballast (7).
b. Replace.
WARNING
Turn off shelter light circuit breaker. Failure to do so may result in death or serious injury.
1. Turn off shelter light circuit breaker.
2. Install ballast (7) and secure with starwasher (6) and nut (5).
3. Connect leads (8).
4. Install ballast cover (4) and secure with 2 screws (3).
5. Install diffuser panel (2) and secure with 4 screws (1).
