a. Remove. (Cont'd)

Remove cover plate screws (1) and cover plate (2).

Loosen two screws (3) and pull switch (4) out far enough to gain access to power terminal screws (5) and ground
screw (6).
NOTE
Tag all wires before disconnecting. Incandescent light switch has two terminals. Fluorescent light switch
has three terminals.
6.
Loosen power terminal screws (5) and ground screw (6), and disconnect power wires (7) and ground wire (8).

Remove switch (4).
b. Replace.
1.
Loosen power terminal screws (5) and ground terminal screw (6).
CAUTION
Ensure that wires are securely wrapped clockwise around power terminal screws and ground screw and
that ends of wires do not stick out. Failure to do so may result in damage to equipment.
2.
Install power wires (7) and tighten screws (5).
3.
Install ground wire (8) and tighten screw (6).
4.
Install switch (4) and tighten screws (3)
5.
Install cover plate (2) with four screws (1) and tighten.
6.
If incandescent light switch was replaced, connect 24v coupling under curbside of shelter.
7.
Set Main Switch to ON.
8.
Set circuit breaker to ON.
9.
Test operate light switch.
