Body oils will ruin optical surfaces.
Remove upper reflector.

Remove infrared-cut filter and clean with lens

NOTE
The coated side of the filter must face lamp.
Reinstall filter and upper reflector.
7.
Clean platen glass with lens cleaning material.
8.
Reinstall top left panel.
9.
Reinstall right platen stopper.
10.
Return platen to home position.
11.
Plug in power cord.
