Check position of Y-axis mute switch S2.

If S2 is turned off, proceed to step 2 .
Turn off S2.
fuses F3 and F4 on A2 for continuity.
If either is defective, replace fuse and turn S2 on.
If pen fails to move, replace A2 (paragraph 4-29.7).
If problem persists, replace Y-drive motor (paragraph
4 - 2 9 . 1 4 ).
5. PLOTTER INITIALIZES; OSCILLATES; THEN STOPS.
