Step 1.
Check to see if P104 is plugged in.

(b) Plug in P104.
Step 2.
Check continuity of negative carrier hood switch.

switch (paragraph 9 - 16 . 12) .
Step 3.
Check output of rectifier CR101 .
I f o u t p u t i s n o t p r e s e n t , r e p l a c e r e c t i f i e r ( p a r a g r a p h 9 - 1 6 . 1 1 ).

FILTER ARM ASSEMBLY DOES NOT MOVE WHEN NEGATIVE CARRIER SWITCH IS ON.
NEGATIVE CARRIER WORKS NORMALLY.
Check continuity of filter solenoid RS102.
Replace filter solenoid (paragraph 9-16.9).
6.
NEGATIVE CARRIER ASSEMBLY DOES NOT MOVE WHEN NEGATIVE CARRIER SWITCH IS
TURNED ON.
Check for proper operation of negative carrier solenoid RS101.
Replace defective negative carrier solenoid (paragraph 9-16.9).
