that motor connector is tight.
If motor connector is tight, proceed to step 4.
Tighten motor connector.
motor continuity as follows:
Separate connector.
Using multimeter, connect leads to female terminals. Reading
should be 50 ohms ± 10 ohms.
If reading is correct, proceed to step 5 .
Replace motor (paragraph 5-16.3).
continuity on FWD/REV switch in both positions.
If continuity is present, proceed to step 6.
Replace switch (paragraph 5-16.2).
continuity on MOTOR SPEED control as follows:
Set multimeter to RX10 scale.
Connect multimeter leads to the two terminals on the MOTOR
SPEED control.
Turn MOTOR SPEED control fully right. Meter
should read 0.
Slowly turn MOTOR SPEED control to the full
l e f t p o s i t i o n .
Meter reading should increase accordingly.
If readings are correct, proceed to step 7.
Replace MOTOR SPEED control (paragraph 5-16.2).
that wire end connector to power switch from bottom of MOTOR
control is connected.
Connect wire end connector.
