Unplug sink power cord.

Tag and disconnect wiring to compressor motor and fan.
Remove mounting screws from base.
Evacuate refrigerant from system.
Disconnect or desolder refrigerant lines from compressor assembly and
remove compressor.
Install new compressor and reconnect or solder refrigerant lines.
Reinstall mounting screws.
Evacuate refrigerant lines and recharge system with freon R-12.
Reconnect wiring to compressor motor and fan.
