WARNING
3-46
A dangerous chemical is used in this equipment. Death or serious injury
may occur if personnel fail to observe safety precautions.
Use great care to avoid contact with liquid refrigerant or refrigerant gas
being discharged under pressure.
Sudden and irreversible tissue damage may
occur from freezing.
Wear thermal protective gloves and a face protector
or goggles in any situation where skin and eye contact is possible.
Do not allow refrigerant to come in contact with flame or hot surfaces.
Heat causes the refrigerant to break down and form carbonyl chloride
(phosgene), a highly toxic and corrosive gas.
Death or serious injury may occur from electrical shock unless power
cord is unplugged before servicing.
