PREPARATION FOR MOVEMENT (CONT)
WARNING
ELECTRICAL HAZARD. Do not make electrical connections/
disconnections while power cable is energized. Death or
serious injury may result.
3. Disconnect power cable (1) from external power source and from
power entry panel (2). Store power cable (1) in semitrailer chassis tool
box (3). Disconnect ground cable (4) from ground cable clamp (5) and from
power entry panel (2).
CAUTION
To prevent thread damage or loss of rod, do not allow
ground rod to rotate or unscrew when removing slide
hammer rod.
4. Using slide hammer, remove ground rods (6) from ground. Store
ground rods (6), ground cable (4), and slide hammer inside Section in
mounting brackets. Secure with knobs.
