(c) Insert slide gage into hole on inner slide of D/S frame above the impression cylinder
(figure 2-280). Turn press forward by hand until the marking “D” on the impression
cylinder meets the front edge of the slide gage (see arrow in figure 2-280).

Install graduated disc on mounting shaft (figure 2-281).
NOTE
In forward mode, press plate cylinder turns clockwise.
Position the “O” point of the degree dial at the mark provided by the oil catcher strap and
clamp the dial.
NOTE
If there is no mark on the strap, make one exactly under the middle of the
cylinder.
“O” position of the press is now coordinated with “O” position of graduated dial.
