b. Repair.
(1) Replace frozen or binding ball bearing or tapered bearings.
(2) Replace worn or damaged pinion gears.
(3) Replace worn cams.
c. Install (figure 2-50)
(1) Install bearing bolt (1), washer (2), and socket-head screw (3).
(2) Install pinion gear (4) with two tapered bearings (5).
(3) Install two washers (6) and spanner nuts (7).
