NOTE
Ink roller must be removed.
Remove two hex-head screws (1) and connecting two links (2).
Tag and remove all rigid line lubrication fittings from lubrication distribution unit (4).
NOTE
Do not remove flexible line fitting.
Remove socket-head screw (3) and lubrication distribution unit (4).
Support ink fountain (5) with wooden blocks.
Loosen two hex bolts (6).
WARNING
Ink fountain assembly exceeds 35 pounds and requires two persons for
removal.
Using two persons, grasp ink fountain (5) on each end, and remove hex bolts (6) and
washers (7), and lift ink fountain out of press.
Resting ink fountain on bench, slide out support bar (8).
NOTE
Two support bar bearings (9) remain in ink fountain (5).
