Inspect and Service Vacuum Pump Filters - Cont

Carefully remove intake filter assembly from both pumps.
5.
Remove cap plug and end plate on bottom of filter assemblies and remove two felt filters from
each assembly.
6.
Remove plastic nut; then carefully remove exhaust filter assemblies and two felt filters from
each assembly.
7.
Clean felt filters using nonflammable flushing solvent. Replace if necessary.
8.
Reinstall exhaust felt filters onto shafts and install shafts back onto vacuum pumps. Use care
not to overtighten plastic nuts.
9.
Reinstall intake felt filters onto shafts; then install end plates and cap plugs.
10.
Reinstall intake and exhaust glass jars on both vacuum pumps.
11.
Reinstall lower cabinet panel.
