(a) If stripped flat’ is correctly prepared, proceed to step 2.
(b) Correctly prepare flat.
Check that glass frame is clean.
(a) If glass frame is clean, proceed to step 3.
(b) Clean glass frame.
Check exposure with sensitivity guide.
(a) If exposure correct, problem may be due to flat being dirty.
Clean flat.
(b) Reset exposure controls.
